Itinerary

Enjoy the incredible Brisbane views from above the Story Bridge! Arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure so your climb leader can explain the route and the all-important safety procedures. Once you are attached to the static line, your climb experience begins!

The climbs depart from base headquarters at Kangaroo Point. The incline is at its greatest as you make your way to the Summit Top Platform, one of the two high points of the climb, each approximately 262 feet (80 meters) above sea level. It's from here that you will first experience the awe-inspiring 360-degree view of Brisbane, its river and surrounding mountain ranges. From the central platform you'll traverse the width of the bridge, high above six lanes of traffic!

    I booked the climb for my friends birthday surprise, and all the staff were so lovely. Sharney led our climb and she was very informative and professional while being so friendly and fun! My next climb will hopefully be with Sharney and i would definitely recommend her.

    My wife and I did the twilight climb, we didn’t know this until we got suited up but you can also do extra activities on the bridge where you walk out on a small platform and you lean forward and spread your arms out over the bridge wasn’t for us. Anyway if you do the extra you get a different harness, more of a body harness as opposed to just a waste harness we and about 4 other we’re wearing. Once you finally get to the top, after sooo many stops not sure why, you then have to wait for the other 13 people to do the extra activities which was over an hour ,things got a little boring, don’t get me wrong the view was great but after 20 mins your ready to move on,we couldn’t wait to get off the bridge. Overall the climb was good, beautiful views, the guides were great, but it needs to be shortened, maybe split the group for people who want to do the extra activities away from people who don’t, I feel 2.20 mins is to long.

    It was a good buzz doing the bridge climb. Small group lead by our fearless leader Sharni, who was awesome very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. What's the odds of getting bitten by a bee?

    This was an incredible experience and I highly recommend doing this as the sun sets behind the buildings. Our guide Sharpie was amazing and super knowledgeable. I've lived in Brisbane moat of my life and can't believe I've only done this on. 5 stars all the way

    What an experience. It wasn't something that I had considered until a mate suggested he wanted to do it. I am so glad I did. It was so much fun, and what a way to see the city. Sharpey was a legend of a tour guide. Definitely recommended doing it, I know I will go again.

    This was an absolutely amazing experience. Our guide, Sharnie, was very good-humoured and knowledgeable, sharing a lot of history about the bridge and the Brisbane region in general. Seeing the whole city from the top of the bridge as the sun went down was an incredible experience, and one I won't soon forget. The photos Sharnie took during the climb will definitely help with that, and the photo package was cheaper than expected as well!

    The whole experience is fantastic. We went on the bridge climb in Sydney a couple of years ago, and I'd rate this as being just as good. And yes, that came as a surprise! What made it great? Our guide was Ollie, and he is just outstanding. He has excellent knowledge of the bridge and of Brisbane. I'm sure he'll be successful in whatever he chooses to pursue in the future.

    My daughter and I did the climb late afternoon. Lovely time of the day. It was thoroughly enjoyable and our guide, Sharnee was informative, engaging and entertaining! Highly recommend!

    Definitely an experience worth doing, great views in all directions. The negative was the time spent standing there while some people did the extra activity. The rest of the group just stood there. Only once the group behind joined us did one of the staff correspond with us with some Bridge and Brisbane facts and stories. Would recommend people do it but be prepared for some dead time.
